If you were injured during an abortion procedure or if you
believe you are suffering the effects of your  abortion, we
want to hear from you. You may be able to seek
compensation for your injuries and suffering.

You may also be able to seek compensation if you were not
properly informed, according to your state law.

Other reasons you may be able to seek compensation or
justice are as follows:

  • You had abortion when you were you were a minor,
and the law was not properly followed; and/or,
  • You were not properly informed according to law.

Examples from Texas law:

You had an abortion within the last two years, and informed consent
was not properly obtained. You were not :

  • Offered a copy of a booklet called "A Woman's Right to Know;"
  • Informed about the risks of abortion; and/or
  • Offered a copy of a pregnancy resource guide.

You had an abortion when you were under 18  and you are now 20
years or younger.  The abortion facility did not follow the law by:

  • Obtaining parental consent for your abortion (since 2005).
  • Notifying a parent that you wanted to have an abortion (since
    2001).
  • Notifying authorities if your baby's father was 18 or older.
  • Notifying authorities if your pregnancy was a result of incest or
    rape.
  • Notifying the authorities if you were 13 or younger.
  • Accepting parental consent by someone other than a parent.
